I was looking for something to protect my 7-1/2 year old's knees while he roller skates and does skating tricks. These are perfect: low profile, they allow full range of motion and protect my son's knees on the wipe-outs. They stay in place for the full 4-6 hour sessions. These pads are great.

My little boy is 11 and has chicken legs lol ... It's hard finding something that fits that he likes these are very well made and have lots of padding so when he wrestles he don't hurt his knees ... Highly recommend.
