Fantastic Skates!Dec 07, 2008
By eddie I took figure skating lessons a couple of years ago, but I eventually quit. Now, I'm planning to start lessons again, but I didn't want to have to use the uncomfortable rental skates at the rink or pay $300 for a name brand pair. I was afraid that these skates would be terrible because they're so cheap, but they're great! They're probably the most comfortable skates I've ever worn, they offer plenty of support for beginner and intermediate figure skaters, and they're 1/15th the price of many skates of the same quality. The laces do come untied easily at first, but eventually, they get worn in. Make sure to order one size smaller than your regular shoe size. I wear an 8 shoe, and 7 skates were the perfect size.

Surprisingly comfortable!Nov 07, 2009
By Keeping It Real I expected a nightmare during the "break-in" period but these skates are actually very comfortable! They are way better than the crappy rentals at the ice rink. If you're considering these skates, I definitely recomend them. By the way, someone suggested buying one size small. I'm not sure what to say about that except that I wear a size 7 normally and size 7 in these skates was perfect for me.

Comfortable SkatesDec 13, 2010
By Z. Zhou Went to the rink with these new skates I just received. I skated for 2 hours and it was very comfortable from the beginning to the end. Much better than the rental skates I used. As far as size goes, my normal shoe size is 7.5 and after reading some reviews here and on Target's website, I decided to go a little bigger, and ordered size 9 skates. Size 9 is a little bigger for me with thin socks, but with some thick woolen socks they feel great. If I order this particular brand again in the future, I would probably just go half size up my normal shoe size and get size 8 skates instead. Hope this helps.

Great SkatesAug 15, 2008
By R. Thanni These skates are great my 13 year old daughter loves them and the extra padding was a great feature. I would recommend this to anyone who wants skates for a fair price.

Good skates for the priceFeb 14, 2009

Not real leather, but didn't expect it for the price. They are a bit stiff, but for my purpose of skating every once in a while, they are just fine.
