This towel works great for what it is intended. It will definately dry you off after swimming or a shower and it's compact. You can't wrap it around you like a regular towel but if you're using it at the pool or gym for showering, usually the dressing room is right there, yes? Big enough to cover the naughty bits at least.

I've tried many different microfiber and synthetic absorbent towels and this one works OK. The reason I give it 3 stars is because I think it's a bit overpriced, doesn't absorb all that much water and can't be rung out very well when it gets saturated. There are a lot of other synthetic drying towels on the market that do an overall better job. You basically have to let it sit and dry once it gets wet in order to get good use out of it again. I sweat a lot and this thing was soaked within about an hour of wiping myself off and then wasn't much good after that. For a single use towel after swimming or something like that, it's fine. For continued use, it's not.

This makes a really good gym towel, it's about the right size although not big enough for a shower towel.
Very absorbent, but it doesn't slide against your skin very readily, so you need to get used to kind of blotting the sweat rather than wiping it.

The aqua towel are both efficient and durable. They do dry as promised and are the right size. Not a beach towel, but very handy when you come from the pool or shower.

I bought this towel to use after my shower at the gym and I have been very happy with it. It is small in size, but that's what I wanted...something that would fit easily into my bag. If you are looking for a towel to "wrap up" in, this will not work for you. If you just need to dry off and would like to save space in your gym bag, this is perfect!
