5No marks on face, no fog, no distortion, no leaks, and pretty!Jul 30, 2010

This review is for the Aqua Sphere Vista Lady Swim Mask. AWESOME MASK.

First I ordered the men's Aqua Sphere Vista Swim Mask and both my husband and I loved it, in fact he loved it so much he stole it from me. Then I saw there was a woman's version and ordered the pink one to try. Just like with the men's, there was Amazingly Clear Vision in the water, & NO FOG & NO LEAKS for a full hour of swimming! I couldn't believe it, after suffering with normal swim goggles for years that sucked my eyes out and left horrible marks. Being older now, I couldn't see getting eye wrinkles from goggles but still wanted to wear my contact lenses and open my eyes under water so I started a big internet search and I am SO GLAD I found these!

By the way, I also tried the Aqua Sphere Seal Swim Mask (very large, but fit Neither my husband or I around the nose--didn't seal) and the Aqua Sphere SEAL XPT LADY Swim Mask (exactly the same problem--didn't seal around my nose, and made gouges in my face). My husband and I both have large heads and ample noses, which may affect the fit, but between the Vista and the Seal versions, the Vista has more generous clear molding around the edges that create the super strong yet gentle on your face suction-seal. I was walking around my apartment for 20 minutes with the Lady Vista suctioned gently to my face WITHOUT the strap on, just to see how comfy it was!

I wish the lady's version of Vista came in more colors and lenses. There's only 2, and no dark lens, so for outside I'm using the men's Vista, which fits pretty similarly.

5GREAT SWIM MASKFeb 05, 2011
By Maureen D. Davenport "Reen5horse"
I love this swim mask! You pay for what you get in these. I do laps and they have not fogged up once. They stay put and don't leave rings around my eyes. I like these better than small goggles because the pressure around my eyes is over a larger part of my face, so my eyes don't feel pressure.

3leaves prominent mark on foreheadOct 22, 2011
By Mount Weary
When I first tried these on, the suction was so powerful that I felt like it was pulling my eyes out of their sockets! I was able to adjust the pressure somewhat after figuring out the best way to put them on (don't press these on to create a suction lock, as you do with goggles, or the suction will be so strong that they'll be hard to pull off again without hurting yourself a little), but they still distort the face a little (making the forehead skin between the mask line and swim cap puff out!).
Then, oh boy, after swimming for an hour (during which they performed very well, other than the awkward pressure, which was especially concentrated on my nose, and started hurting after awhile), I pulled them off and started getting weird looks as I walked toward the locker room. I'm very prone to "raccoon eyes" from goggles, which is why I switched to this mask, but the mask line was pretty bad, too! There was a huge red spot on my nose that looked like some kind of bad skin condition, and the forehead line was awful! Even after the redness went away, a huge dent across my forehead remained, looking like a premature wrinkle line (I'm only 25). It's been about 5 hours since then, and, though less prominent, the dent is STILL there! I wish I had bangs to hide it, it makes me look older than I am.

Since I bought this mask for vanity reasons (unhappy with the damage the goggles were causing to the skin around my eyes), I'm not satisfied with this purchase. The mask works well, but not for my purposes, and it's not as comfortable as I hoped for either.

I love Aqua Sphere masks but I just received these as I am training for a triathlon and found them to leak. I tried to get them to fit me 3 different times but I found after 20 minutes they start to leak. Too bad because I really like the wide view and they do not make the usual marks on my face.

Goggles are v.g. quality and comfortable, but leaked from the very first try. Adjustments are easy, but still did not correct the problem. Gave up after a few laps and went back to my old pair. Maybe I just don't have the right shaped face for this particular style.
