 Not as comfortable as Speedo glovesOct 24, 2006

These run a bit smaller than the speedo versions - the Speedo large was a bit too big for me and the medium here is a bit tight. Although smaller, it doesn't leave as much finger tip exposed and I'm not fond of the enclosed thumb. However, they are not uncomfortable (once I'm swimming I don't find them tight, just when putting them on). The velcro closure seems to hold better than the Speedo one's did.

I use these for lap swims and am pleased they are so comfortable. The small size is just a little bit large on my small to medium women's hands. I believe these come in unisex sizes so women do not order large.

These are fine swim gloves, adding resistance for a better work out--but the "large" size fits only my wife's hands. They are way too small for me.

I purchased a size medium of these gloves and I find them to run a bit small. I weigh 120 lbs. and have a hard time getting them on. If I had known this I would have ordered a larger size.

On the plus size, these gloves seem to be well constructed. They do dry fast and fasten securely. On the downside, they are NOT true to size. I ordered a large and they were just too small. I thought if I used them, they would stretch out, but I only used them once for a couple of laps. My fingertips are literally still numb from lack of circulation. If you have smaller size hands, these gloves may be your ticket, but if your hands are anything more than average, I would recommend another brand. Kudos to amazon for a painless return system.
