Great for warming upJul 06, 2010
By Scott Grossman Though meant for women's fast pitch softball, this is a great warm up tool for old guy slow pitch softball as well. Nothing better than the feeling of the first throw with a regular ball after you've made about a dozen tosses with the Cannonball. Makes the standard ball feel like styrofoam.

I love this product. I t was introduced to me last year by a friend and it help me stretch all parts of the arm. I was aable to throw it farther and more accurately without the feeling of throwing my arm out. It felt like throwing a wiffle ball.

By :) This is absolutely the best way to warm up your arm. It makes a baseball or softball feel like a feather. It works great as a dog toy as well. My dog is so destructive on other dog toys, but not this. :)
Great training toolJan 16, 2012
By Coach D As a college softball pitching coach, I love using the cannonball for strength training and conditioning. It's also great for getting my relief pitcher quickly warmed up during a game. Great product.

I recently hurt my elbow playing racquetball, resulting in tendonitis. This happened four days before a softball game, and since I play third base, I need a healthy arm - I am a 46yr old male, and had rotor-cuff surgery some years back - thanks little league coach for having me throw curve balls! When I got to the field, one of my teammates, who is a doctor, tossed me one of these balls - I was hesitant at first, but I did some soft tosses with this ball (after stretching my arm first), and then I went to a regular 6 oz softball - my arm felt great! The regular ball was like throwing a ball of crushed paper after warming up with this ball. When I got home that night, I ordered this from Amazon, and I received it on Wednesday - just in time for this Sunday's double-header. This is wonderful for arm strengthening, and in my case rehab for a bad elbow and shoulder. I wish I would have found this item years ago!
