This ball is the 11" size for younger pitchers, which makes total sense but I purchased this for my daughter who uses 12" softballs. Still can be used to find grip but not right size for older girls. Just wish this had been information available when making my decision to purchase.

Excellent for new pitchers and a great tool to keep the more experienced pitchers sharp.Practiced with the training ball to learn the grips, rotation and snaps for each pitch then used a 16" ball after to help with my grip on the ball, it makes it easier and gives you more confidence to grip a 12" softball after you practice with the trainer and a ball larger than the regulation size for your game.
