my 6yo son started little league and i was looking for a backpack-style bat bag so he could carry it himself. this is the perfect bat bag for him, it's not so big that he struggles with the pack, but there's plenty of room for his helmet, glove, balls and two bats. we first ordered the louisville slugger large backpack bat bag, which was huge on him (he's 44" and that bag almost touched his ankles). this bag hits him about mid-thigh, and has enough room left so that i know any helmet he has will fit. the best part is that he can carry the bag himself comfortably, and i don't have to worry about looking for his gear when we're rushing out to practice. i was worried that this bag would be flimsy given the price, but it's actually just as nice as bags which are literally twice the price. the only feature i miss is that the strap that holds the bat in place near the top handle do not open up (it's just a stretchy band), so if you want to put the bat in, you need to get it through the stretchy band that's near the top of the bag in order to fit the bat into the mesh bat sleeve. the louisville slugger bag had a latch you could unclip so you didn't need to slide the whole bat through to put it in the bag. but for the price, it's a very small drawback for all the features this bag has.

Good product for summer softball. I can fit shoes 4 softballs and 3 gloves plus a small pocket for keys and wallet and glasses.
Price you cant beat. If your looking for a new bag get this one.

These bat packs that are so "in", are so spendy. But not this one! Not only does it look pretty cool, it is a very high quality bag. It is not like the cheaply made ones that I found locally at this price. Already after a few seasons of ball, I can tell it's built to last. Also, I was afraid it wouldn't have enough room for everything including the helmet, but to my surprise it has plenty. Take out the second bat & you've got a spot for a water bottle, too. My son loves it! He says it's alot easier to hang on the fence and keep his stuff together.

I've used the bag for just a few weeks. For the money, you can't beat it. That being said, if I would have had some extra cash, I would have pony'd up for Easton's higher end backpack. This one is a bit of a pain to get things in and out of when bats are on both sides, and the main pocket is a bit small. But all and all, you can't really complain. I hope it holds up for a few years.

I bought this item for my 6 year old daughter who plays softball. Bag is the perfect size for her. Small enough that she can carry it on her back, but big enough to have all her stuff inside. Inside is 2 softballs, her glove, my glove and her batting helmet with the attached face guard. There is still room inside to put more stuff. Bats or drinks fit great in the outside mesh pockets
