Step Grade Below a WallFeb 09, 2012
By Alex_Nguyen After almost 20 years, I bought this because there was no wall. It does work but it is not a wall and the rubber band breaks. It was okay for an hour of timing drills to see if I was still a pro or not. I hit the ball and then it annoyed me.
gamma tennis trainerAug 28, 2011
By luvAmazon The tennis trainer works well enough. The elastic is sturdier than what I was expecting. My kids love hitting it and does the job. Only issue is that the ball is not as bouncy as it should be because it comes back too low most times but like real tennis not all shots will come at you just right so this will teach my kids how to handle low return shots:).

Bought this for my grandson's 2nd birthday, since he loves throwing balls and Mom likes not having to run after them all the time! They love it, the line is too long, but they just tied it to the length they wanted and it works great.
great tennis training toolJan 01, 2011
By marie I purchase these, usually 5 at a time, for our son who plays on the school tennis team. He uses it on our driveway to practice his strokes, speed and accuracy for hours at a time. I purchased the base a couple of years ago, which is still good, and just buy these replacement balls that he reattaches when the old one wears out. It is not meant to leave outside, and with care they last a good while, and he does not go easy on them. They have DEFINATELY helped his play and I highly recommend them to anyone who doesn't have a tennis court/opponent at their disposal any given time.
Best $5 I ever spentOct 02, 2010
By W. Barrett Tennis? Well I don't know about that. Don't play. But it's a great dog training tool. My dog licks the floor constantly. I can sit at my desk and aim this ball at him, along with the command 'no lick', and the ball bounces right back to me. It's not that I'm too lazy to get up to go deal with him, but by the time I get across the room, he stops. This lets me target the specific behavior as it is happening. And no, I'm not trying to actually hit him with the ball....just startle him.
