Good rollerAug 16, 2010 I do really like this roller, and I like that it came with a video to show me how to use it since I had never had one before. I feel like it has lost some of it's shape (is a bit squished) after not much use, and I'm not very big (about 120lbs). Some others might be sturdier. When I buy a new one I will look for something sturdier, but this was good for a first-time user.

Breaks Down Over TimeAug 06, 2010 This foam roller will lose firmness over time. I just replaced mine with a totally different model because it simply didn't provide the necessary relief anymore. I could use it all day and it sill wouldn't work out muscle tension like the foam rollers at my gym.

Better than I expectedJul 18, 2010 Three years of knee trouble, over $1000 in physical therapy sessions and at last I am taking matters into my own hand. The first thing on my list to buy was the foam roller that I used to decent effect in physical therapy. This one fits the bill perfectly. Firm enough to provide a solid platform for my leg rolls, after a few minutes of rolling the pain from my iliotibial muscle starts to dissipate. For anybody with IBS (Iliotibial Band Syndrome) this is an absolute must. For those with minor back pain, again, this will be a big help. Recommended.

Great for FitnessJun 12, 2010 Great for tight hamstrings - the reason I bought it. Also, works well for other parts of the body.
Will continually buy products from Amazon.

Suitable for lumberjacksJun 07, 2010 I had to return this item because it is SO wide in circumference that it would only be suitable for someone who is about 6 feet tall and weighs more than 250lbs. I had been looking for a roller to lie on down my spine to help with issues there, like what I use in P.T. At 5'4" and under 150 lbs, trying that maneuver with this product was like lying on a styrofoam life preserver.
