I love the jump rope. I am using it in a fitness program. My only problem is that I am only 5'2" and it is long for me. I had trouble finding shorter ropes that where good. I wish this had a shorter version avaiable.

There's really not much to a jump rope. The only thing I would expect is for it to stay in one piece. After about 15-20 uses, my GoFit rope broke 3 times. Twice in the handle (easy enough to fix), and then once in the middle where the rope hits the floor. I would definitely expect the rope to have lasted longer and will definitely look for better quality in my next rope. It's unfortunate that I can't give the rope 0 stars.
****UPDATE - I sent a comment to GoFit through their website and they are sending a replacement and a backup. We'll see how long the replacements last, but I'm very happy with their quick response (within hours) and actual concern that there was a problem with their product (without first trying to blame me for doing something wrong!). Very refreshing to see a company take responsibility for a product problem with no questions asked. Upgrading my rating to 3 stars.

I bought this rope about 2 weeks ago. Im trying to loose some weight before I travel abroad and I decided that Jump Rope would be a great way to loose weight, which it is. I bought the GoFit Speed Rope and it broke in the 3rd use. just snapped in half by the rope.... For me it was a waste of my money, and I'll be staying away from GoFit products in the future.

My original review was at 1 star but I have moved it up to 3. This is because of the customer service I received from GoFit. I complained to their customer service and received an email and a phone call apologizing for the poor product. Then to make up for it they sent me 5 jump ropes in a package via UPS. Pretty great CS.

Rope broke at the handle after 2 days of use. I repaired the break and it then broke in the middle where it hits the floor. Did I just get a bad section of rope or is it indicative of GoFit's quality, I don't know.

This rope was OK...while it lasted. I used it for a two day a week outdoor fitness class this summer and it actually broke at the handle on the last day of class. I'll be getting a Buddy Lee rope to replace it.
