great inexpensive product!Aug 20, 2011
By jeff I have always had problems with my grip. For the most part I can usually fight thru them, until the last mental episode (it was like I had never picked up a club in my life).... so I ordered the grip it rite and the first swing felt right. I have used it two rounds and use it on every club. If you are having problems with your swing try this product, because most likely it is in your grip!
Really cool!Apr 25, 2012
By Knoobee I have 2 of these and really think they are helpful. My grip was indeed off, I was using a very strong grip. This basically immediately straightened out my grip and has improved my ball striking. I like that the thumb is actually on the golf club, and this device is not as bulky as a traditional training grip, which I've never really liked. I don't know that I really needed 2, but it's nice to keep one in my golf bag and the other in my practice area, so I'm happy having both.
I also like the "gun sight" that is really easy to set up the device to have a square, closed or open club face. This also helps identify what a square club face actually looks like while addressing the ball. I have tried all sorts of junk over the years in the never-ending and often frustrating quest for improvement (even the Swing Jacket, remember that?) and this GripItRite tops the list for grip improvement anyway. For 20 bucks, I think it was a good purchase and am satisfied with the product. It is made of molded plastic that seems strong and of good quality. Great invention!
Uncomfortable - but that means it is helping.Mar 20, 2012
By Talbot Reiber I will say that if you put the work in that is necessary with this device, it will benefit your game. It is annoying though. Maybe because I thought my grip was better, maybe because I hate to think I need to rely on a device. Whatever the case, I hit balls with it a few times now...and it does what it says. Properly aligns your hands and wrists. I will get back to this review in due time to report if it has knocked strokes off of my handicap.
good grip reminderMar 01, 2012
By anthony I had a pretty good grip, but this reminder perfected it. I was also struggling with regripping on my back swing. After using this, I was able to break that habit. I like how you can move it from club to club, I usually put it on my PW and 8 iron. You have to readjust it after a few hits and it makes a little clunky sound when hitting the ball. But I guess that is what you sacrifice when not getting a permanent training grip installed. But as stated, you can remove the grip easily which you cant do with a permanent one.
