Great Groovy BikeSep 27, 2007
By S. Stansbury Amazon delivered the bike before the expected delivery date! The bike was easy to assemble. My daughter loves her new cool bike - especially the furry zebra design seat!

Assembly nightmareJun 05, 2008
By L. Trudeau The bike arrived, with the picture on the box. My 3-year-old was so excited to get her new bike! The box was beat up, and the bike was scratched a little in some places... all the things I can overlook, EXCEPT that the front fork was TOO SMALL for the wheel, and the wheel would not fit. My daughter was "helping me" assemble the bike, and was SO DISAPPOINTED when we had to pack it up and wait for Schwinn to pick it up in a week or so. I chose this bike because of the unique colors and fun seat, but I could have gone to my local Walmart and bought one already assembled that I know fit together. Baby Age (the seller) was kind to quickly refund, but my daughter is still very disappointed.

Ali's bicycleApr 26, 2009

My granddaughter loves this bicycle, which is very colorful and eye-appealing. She and I spent a long time on the internet choosing this bicycle. It was purchased to replace her first 16-inch bicycle, which she had to leave behind in her cross-country travels. Although I have not seen it in person, she speaks of it often. It appears, for all intents and purposes, to have been a good choice.

groovy girls bikeAug 01, 2008
By Elizabeth Cardell Although the bike is adorable, it took forever to ship. When it did get here it had a flat tire. Pacific coast cycle was most rude and unhelpful in this matter. They wanted me to ship the bike back (at my expense) and then send me another. They begrudgingly, finally sent me a tube when I begged them to send me a new front tire. When I complained about how hard it was to fix the problem myself, their representative said I should have purchased from a bike store and not an online retailer. So I guess they take no responsibility for their product. The tube didn't fix the problem, so my daughter sill hasn't been able to ride her new bike as of Aug. 1st (we ordered it in June). Although the bike is adorable it isn't worth the hassle. I'm sure your daughter will prefer a bike she can actually ride vs. just look at. The summer is almost gone and my daughter is out of luck.

daughter is happyDec 27, 2007
By Katie A. Stein We received the bike in a box in front of our doorstep. If you want this to be a suprise for your daughter then you will need to be careful because you will know it is a groovy girl bike by looking at the box. Most of the bike was already put together. Assembly required for the front wheel, training wheels, seat, handle bars and the front brake needed adjustment. Powder coat paint finish arrived with many dings in it. The box was pretty beat up when it arrived. Overall, the bike arrived on time and our daughter is extremely happy with it. She does not care about the stuff we noticed.
