Solid racquetSep 03, 2009
By Enigma I recently upgraded from a Liquidmetal 4 to this racquet and so far been VERY satisfied with it. First off, I was over-hitting a lot of balls with the liquidmetal and I tend to take long swings at the ball. So, I wanted something that gave me a a little more control. Two things about this racquet:
1. It has a fairly generous sweet spot for a midplus.
2. Microgel is a quite more flexible material. Less stiffness gives you a good feel/comfort on the ball. Look for the extreme/instinct racquets with "teflon" for a little more pop.

SensationalSep 27, 2008
By Andre Galhardo The title says it all: this racquet is absolutely sensational. I feel it's just easier to play tennis with my Microgel Radical. More Power + control and a special magic that makes my confidence much higher. Fotget the oversize and buy the MP - I guess anyone can play with this top product.

Used to love my previous racquet until I got this one.
HEAD Ti.S6 Prestrung Racquets
Despite the smaller head, I prefer the Head MicroGel Radical MidPlus Tennis Racquet. Better control and spin. Good Power. Great Grip.
Nice Orange Color. Like a tiger. Black/Orange.
Highly Recommend.

Spin CityFeb 10, 2012
By Scott E. Regener When I took up tennis a few months ago, I knew nothing about rackets, so I went to a local sporting goods store and looked for a heavily discounted racket, figuring I could replace it later if I loved tennis and needed a different racket. As a complete beginner, a racket is a racket: hit it wrong, it goes wrong.
Well, after six months of play, I can honestly say I see no reason to replace this racket. Yes, it does not have tremendous power. If you're in the game for smashing serves and driving people into the back wall, this is probably not your racket. If you want to hit your spots, and you want to create spin without having to contort your body in weird ways, though, you can't go wrong with this racket. I have handcuffed players by spinning the ball into their bodies when they couldn't even tell I'd spun the ball by my swing. I get a 45-degree sideways bounce when I tilt the head on contact.
Volleys are precise, and there is enough give to take the power off a strong forehand drive. And the head is light enough to hit wacky angles no one expects.
So, no power, right? At my club, I hit smashes down into the court that bounce high off the back wall from the net position, so I'd say there is enough there. But there are few things in life more satisfying than hitting the sideline of the court just feet over the net and watching it spin into the side nets. As a USTA 3.0, I guess I don't know why people say you need to be a 3.5 or better to use this racket. But I'll keep using mine as a happy camper.
