Great bike for my 4 year oldJan 07, 2008

"m&m mama"
We got this bike for my 4-year old daughter for Christmas and it is great. The perfect size and ease of maneurverability for her. She can easily pedal, stop and coast.

Get this bike!Jan 01, 2008
By C. Craig This is an excellent bike! It was easy to assemble and the quality seems to be just fine. I was considering buying each of my daughters an (expensive) Trek bike from one of our local bike stores. After thinking about it, though, I decided to buy this one instead since I thought she would grow out of this size bike after just a year or so. I try to buy high-quality products, which is why I was considering the ($150+) Trek. But I'm really glad we decided on this one. For a little girl's bike, this one is just perfect. For the money, it was a great buy. My girls love to put things in the pouches that are attached to the front of the bike. I think the bikes are prettier in person than online, too. If you're considering a bike for your little girl, I highly recommend this one!

Great Bike but Instructions Could be BetterDec 24, 2007
By H. S. Marsh The Princess bike is just what my granddaughter wanted and is well built and very colorful. Any little girl would be very happy with it. The only problem is a very minor one. The assembly instructions appear to be written as a "one size fits all" instruction for all Huffy bikes rather than specific instructions for this one, so some degree of interpretation is necessary. Anyone who has assembled children's toys or bikes in the past won't have a problem. Also, at one point, the instructions seem to imply the need for a torque wrench, which most people wouldn't have. Nonetheless, assembly is pretty easy, and the lack of a torque wrench shouldn't be a problem if judgment is used in place of an actual measurement of torque.

Tough to assemble/ poor customer serviceApr 27, 2009
By Meredith McDermott I would love to be able to say how much daughter loves riding her new bicycle, but we still cannot get it assembled after several tries and one try by a neighbor. Not only that, but our phone call to Huffy customer service to request a replacement of a small metal shaft that holds the pedal on was a horrible experience. They were very rude and reluctant to be helpful. Hopefully, we will eventually get this part and get going.

Your daughter will love being a princess.Jan 10, 2009
By Noname I was a little hesitant to buy my 4 yo daughter a character bike. My son has a Power Ranger bike and we have great difficulty tightening the handlebars and seat so they don`t move when riding. For someone learning to ride a bike, that presents a huge challenge. I often have to straighten the handlebars when he falls. I was worried we'd have that problem with this bike, with the idea that character bikes are sold more for the characters than the quality of the bike itself.
No worries so far. This bike is holding up well. It was easy to tighten up the bolts, and I don't have very strong arms. The seat stays put and so do the handlebars -- no twisting there.
The bike is pretty, it's the perfect size. My daughter loves it and rides it around all the time. It was a good choice, I'd buy this bike again.

UPDATE 7/16/09
We've has this bike for six months. My only problem with this bike so far is one of the pedals keeps falling off. It's a cinch to screw back on, but it's a bit of a headache. Also, the bag on the handlebars has fallen apart. I'm finding that I would like the bike to have a kickstand. My daughter doesn't seem to mind these details. She still loves her bike.
