Huffy 20-inch Girls bikeFeb 06, 2010
By A. Brown It was cheap enough for my purpose, which was just to provide a bike for my daughter to learn to ride. It assembled quickly and easily. Unfortunately it is not the same quality that Huffy used to be. The tires make a weird clicking sound. It does not turn smoothly without catching a bit. Still good for my daughter to learn to balance- but then we will be buying something better.

Poor QualityJan 02, 2010
By Kelli E. Ugarte My daughter got this for Christmas. When we were putting it together, my husband commented on the quality being poor. I figured, "no big deal, she won't ride it long anyway". After taking it out twice, one of the pedals continues to fall off. I tighten it with pliers to prevent it from falling off, but the movement she makes by pedaling loosens the pedal and as she pedals, it unscrews it. Very poor design.

Good buyMay 22, 2011
By Tracy Came very well packaged. Easy to assemble. My daughter is 5 and it's just the right height for her. We should get a couple of years use from this. Worth it's value.

Quality Control?May 18, 2011
By John L. Thompson

My boy/girl twins received bikes for their 4th birthday. This was the one for my daughter. The other bike for my son was also a Huffy. I have put many bikes together, it's really quite easy. The boy's bike went together in about 10 minutes, no problem. This one, on the other hand was horrible! The fork was completely malformed and would not accept the front wheel. If they weren't so excited to get these, or if it was the first one I had put together I would have immediately sent it back. But, wanting to please my kids was the most important thing to me. So with a lot of muscle and the help of tools I was able to spread the fork enough to accept the wheel and complete assembly.
This lack of quality control would put this on the DO NOT BUY list for me. Their next bike will certainly not be a Huffy. I really have my doubts about how long this one will last.

Exceeded ExpectationsDec 29, 2010

I bought this bike for my 3 year old for Christmas since she outgrew her tricycle. I was mostly shoked at how easy the assembly was. I am handy and have put a few bikes together, so I had an advantage, but the bike came mostly assembled in the box. The only things to do were to put on the seat, handle bars, fron wheel, training wheels, and pedals. I was very happy that I did not have to mess with the chain or back wheel. After a quick tire inflation we were done putting the bike together in about 10 minutes. I bought this along with another Huffy for my older son and they were nearly identicle in installation.
The colors are very girly, just what she wanted. This bike does the trick for a first bike. My daughter rode it for about an hour on Christmas day and loves it.
