The Insider Bat is a revolutionary baseball/softball muscle memory training
tool that promotes proper grip, hand placement and proper swing path before,
during and after contact is made. The unique design allows for only one way to
make contact with the ball the CORRECT way!
The Insider Bat is manufactured with aircraft 6061 grade aluminum and stainless
steel. The shaft and sweet spot are powder coat painted, finished with a high
gloss clear coat. The handle is high quality injection moldedolypro co-polymer
with a comfortable poly-olefin coating.
Muscle memory is a term used to describe a learned movement, pattern or habit.
By performing the same movement pattern repeatedly, more effective nerve/muscle
connections are made. These connections that are made repeat more effectively
each time used. After developing muscle memory, the new action is automatic and
will be performed without conscious thought.
If used properly, the Insider Bat will assist in creating positive muscle
memory for a fundamentally correct swing.

Good Training ToolSep 02, 2011

A lot of thought went into the design of this product. It is well made and does exactly what it was designed to do -- forces the hitter to keep his/her hands inside the ball and use a "palm up, palm down" approach through the hitting zone in order to have any success in hitting a line drive with it. If done repeatitively, over time those mechanics should become a more natural swing that gradually shows up in practices and games and increases chances for success. But keep in mind it does not correct other potential hitting problems -- other traning is needed for the rest of the swing mechanics!
My kids also thought it was a cool looking hitting stick and a fun tool to use -- we made up little games with it like counting how many line drives out of 10 they could hit or how far they could hit it and having a little competition at the end of our workout. That helped keep them focused and having fun instead of realizing they were doing repetitive training.

This is one of the best tools in my truck. Every season, kids want to use it. Off the tee, soft toss, one handed drills, it's all good.

Good Tool for the BasicsDec 25, 2010

Just got it for my two kids (8 + 6), its made with very good materials and well build.
Although we just started using it, it already started to fix my kids swing for the better.
In 20 minutes it has done more than all my advice for about a year. Very happy with the product.
Size 7 send by mistake but I am glad since it fits pretty good as my older is a big guy.
