Classic bike bell.Jul 09, 2007
By C. Cornell Here's all you need to know:
It's a red bell.
It rings.
Loudly.
It fits the handlebars securely.
It does exactly what a bike bell is supposed to do.

A nice r-r-r-r-r-ing tone. Not just for kids.Mar 04, 2011
By Bo88y I got one of these because it appeared that some of the other bells had single "ding" actuators, and this one looked like it went r-r-r-r-ring. It does, and it's loud enough to warn pedestrians, other cyclists, and even nearby drivers (if their windows are open). It's a pleasant enough tone not to evoke resentment, unlike some of the horns that some avid (rabid?) cyclists recommend.
- Placement can be a bit difficult on handlebars with brake- and shift-levers. If you look at the illustration, the lever is on the right side, and its action requires it to be pulled toward you. I mounted it on the right side of the handlebars, just inside the shift-lever, with the top tilted back toward my chest, so I can flip it downward with my right thumb. This works well in terms of ergonomics, while keeping the bell in a position that drains if it gets rained on.

Cute!Dec 14, 2006
By TXmommy We purchased this bell for our two year old's Kettler Kettrike Air Happy Tricycle. It fits perfectly on the handle bars and was very simple to install with just one screw. Now everyone can hear him coming!

Three words: get this bellJul 28, 2009
By payam This is an excellent bell. It's red, so you will find it quickly in the heat of an emergency. It's loud, so others are more likely to hear you ring it over other noise, like street noise. You can mount it on the right and flick it with your index finger or mount it on the left and flick it with your thumb. The branding sticker comes off easily, which I view as a nice plus. I don't know why it's marketed for toddlers, this is all around better than any other bike bell I've ever seen.

Perfect classic bellJun 11, 2007

I easily installed this bell on our Kettler Happy Nav. Can't see much going wrong with it as it appears to be very well made with high quality metals & high quality flexible but strong plastic. I'm pretty sure it's not waterproof but I don't think I will be taking our little guy out with his trike if it's really raining.
