My daughter had ear tubes put in and needed to protect her ears for swimming. I had the option of getting ear plugs made for over $50, or trying the Ear Bandit for $15. Get the Putty Buddies to go with this, and it's a perfect fit! She is going on 1.5 years with this, and has only had one mishap that led to an ear infection... a water slide. The only thing I would suggest is to get a smaller size, because they do stretch out. I had to order a new one this year because my old one is too stretched for her. The dr. recommended a size medium last year (my daughter was 3 and in the 90th percentile for height and weight), but I wished I had gone with a small. I love how this looks on her as well... very cute and stylish! Better than that, she LOVES it!

I got this for my 3yr old little girl who had tubes put in her ears. I used the Ear Band-it as a double barrier along with ear plugs. My daughter was able to enjoy the water (without having to hear me scream uneasily "don't get water in your ears"). It definitely did the job! I did end up getting the medium after reading other reviews stating size runs a little small.... due to the headband being a little large I had to keep tightening the velcro in the back, also leaving behind a long piece of leftover velcro material flopping in the back of her head. Not sure if the small would have been too small, but medium didn't fit her head quite right. Other then that, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to keep water out of their ears!

What a neat product. My son thinks it is really cool to wear. He has been asking to wear it in the bath now! Durable and effective!

I got these to make my ear plugs work more efficiently but it still leaked water into my ears. I got some in my size and my young granddaughters sizes also. None of them worked for what we needed.

Overall, great product for kids. I purchased this for my 6 year old dgtr. for camp. She was c/o water getting in her ears during swim. However, we opted not to purchase the ear plugs that go underneath bands. The ear bands worked quite well, even without earplugs. The only issue my daughter encountered while using ear bands was some difficulty getting her goggles on over band but she did manage with help. That said, I would def. buy again.
