I got this for my daughter's 5th birthday. It's really cute and seemed to be just what I was looking for but it's really cheaply made. The description says that it is a wooden box with paper overlay, but I really doubt that it is real wood...more like wood "product." A medium density cardboard more like it. Plus the top won't really stay open. I don't think that it will last very long and I know she will get really frustrated with the top unless I can figure out how to keep it open when she wants it open. If you move it just the slightest bit (like trying to open a bottom drawer) or just bump it, the lid will slam shut. I know she'll love it...at first. I can't say more than that.

This was exactly what I was looking for, a classic music box with a twirling ballerina. It is nicley made and plenty big enough for my daughters special jewelry. The music is perfect as well.

This is a good choice for a little girl. It is affordable, cute and has decent quality. My daughter is 4 years old and she loved it.

I purchased this music box for my 3 year old for Christmas. When i received the package I was super excited, but to my dismay the music box was very cheap looking. The mirror has a big scratch through it, and the music box itself is very poorly made. What a huge dissapointment. I'm returning it, and trying to find another.. I'm just glad I ordered well before Christmas, so I have time to replace it.

I bought this product for my daughter's 5th birthday. She wanted a ballerina jewelry box to store her necklaces and this one was perfect for her. There is a long compartment on the right to hang jewelry and four drawers that open on the other side. The space is ample for watches, bracelets, rings, necklaces, and earrings. The song that plays is Waltz of the Flowers from the Nutcracker Ballet. The box is wood with a glossy fashion overlay. I had no problems with the product being defective in any way. The only issue I noticed was the paper that was glued on shows air bubbles underneath in some parts. However, for the price I paid (which was 1/2 the retail price), I believe this was a good bargain.
