This helmet has a unique finish. We bought a Lg and it is plenty big. My son is 14 but has a pretty large head & he could have probably used a Medium. Looks awesome & he says it is very comfortable.

Love Mizuno products - this helmet looks great - the matte finish is fabulous. Nice snug fit and the foam padding has a dri-wick surface that helps with those sweaty teen heads.

I have a normal size head and no hair, its a tight fit with no cap on.
It works for me but others might have trouble fitting this on.
Overall get a bigger size than you need. 7\10

I bought this for my son who is an avid baseball player. The flat black is cool, the quality is decent, it's a fitted helmet so make sure you order the correct size! Wearing a hat under the helmet makes a difference. So if your child prefers a hat or not, just take that into account!
