Description:

The Prince Triple Threat Scream Oversize is an outstanding choice for the beginning to intermediate player or a junior making the move to their first adult racquet. The Triple Threat Scream has a generous sweetspot, lighter static weight, and a stiff 28mm tapered beam to provide ample power for players with a slow to moderate swing speeds.

TRIPLE THREAT TECHNOLOGY
The most important characteristics of a racquet are Power, Comfort, Control, and Maneuverability. These characteristics are directly effected by the stability of a racquet. When stability is enhanced in a racquet, these characteristics are improved. A more stable racquet that has a larger sweetspot is more accurate and has less torque. Triple Threat is the ideal technology to improve stability without sacrificing maneuverability. Triple Threat benefits ALL players, regardless of skill level.
TUNGSTEN TRIPLE BRAID
Ultimate Stability, Power & Control Improving Triple Threat technology requires enhancing stability and this is done by concentrating the weight more effectively at 10, 2, and the butt cap. The perfect material to do the job is Tungsten. Tungsten allows Prince to precisely locate weight and design the most efficient racquet available on the market today. Triple Threat alone improves stability 11% over standard racquets.

5Excellent tennis racquetNov 28, 2007
By J.F.L.-Fairfax VA "j_f_ligaya"
This Prince SCREAM tennis racquet is excellent and has improved my game. It is a definite improvement over my plus-7-year-old tennis racquet and meets my requirements (aggressive week-end player) with its excellent balance, tacky grip and a superb blend of power and control. It is solid, both because the "oversize" provides a more forgiving sweet spot and because there is no vibration nor twisting with off-center hits.
[Additional note: Prince SCREAM tennis racquet is also on many "Editor's Choice" or "Highly Recommended" list, including Tennis Magazine.]

4Like it a lot!Apr 22, 2009

Am a 4-4.5 player ..getting back into the game after a few years of hibernation. just switched to this racquet based on the reviews in Tennis magazine + an attractive cost profile.

Pros:
Great value for money
Solid power..good at baseline & net
Light feel and easy swing

Cons:
Definetely needs a vibration dampener
Feels a tad bit too light weight..may experiment with lead tape to provide a slightly heavier head.

Overall a very solid product.

5Very Pleased!Nov 29, 2010

I play once a week, never really had any lesson, but am pretty quick at learning different shots. I love the feel of the racket, very lightweight, and provides me with the power shots when I need them. Very pleased with purchase!

Recommended by a friend....Great racquet, excellent balance & feel. I added a little lead tape to the head for a little more serving power, very pleased with it so far.

5Prince TT Scream Tennis RacketAug 05, 2010
By Stephen Jones "sbjones"
This is my fourth TT Scream. I keep coming back to it because it seems to work for me. I am a solid 3.5 to 4.0 playing about 4 times a week. Mostly doubles these days but occasionally singles too. This racket provides good control and is very maneuverable. I played the Prince O3 white Sharapova racket for a couple of years. I liked that racket but I still came back to the Scream for the balance and maneuverability. The Scream just has the most natural feel in my hand and has pretty good feel on the ball. At $55 strung and delivered it's a true bargain. The price allows owning a few and experimenting with strings and tensions which I like to do. They play well right out of the box too, strung at the recommended tension with Prince Synthetic gut.

I would always like a little more power but it difficult to obtain and still maintain control. I last strung this one with Big Banger Alu @ 50 lbs and I am very happy with the results. I just have to remember to crack the ball pretty well. The string/racket combination is okay when pushing the ball around but it really shines when hitting the ball with authority.

One additional note: I was able to fracture the frame in the throat area with a very well struck overhead on a day when I was hitting on all cylinders. It unusual to break a frame on a stroke, especially a clean hit. So there may be a weakness there. Something to consider if you are Godzilla.
