Great Woman's BasketballSep 14, 2011
By B. Pennemans I grew up playing with a men's basketball and always found it hard to throw because of it's size compared to my hand and not having great arm strength also made it difficult to throw and shoot. It is a canon in feel compared to the Woman's WNBA basketball. Even though the size and weight specs on the ball are not incredibly different compared to the men's ball, it is enough to make the ball more maneuverable and easier to shoot and pass. It is a lively bouncing ball for dribbling. The microfiber composite leather has a very, very nice feel to it, unlike the leather ball. Somewhat tackie for easy handling. I love it. It makes the game much more fun. The color panels make it easy to watch the spin on the ball for teaching good form and in general, just make shots with spin look aesthetically more impressive. I don't think anyone would be dissappointed with the purchase. It is an indoor ball; same used by the WNBA. If you were planning to use it outdoors, I would not expect it to last because of it's soft feel, but I have not tried it to know for sure.
It Made Her HappyMar 26, 2012

"love the romance"
It got this basketball for my daughter after her 2nd season of college basketball ended. They missed the playoff by one game and was devasted. Just wanted to cheer her up and give her confidence for next season. She begged me to get this ball for a Christmas gift but I told her it was too expensive. It has made her happy to have an offical WNBA game ball to put in her dorm room. Priceless.
